Working Principle of Eye Drop Filling Line
The empty eye dropper bottles are transported by the conveying mechanism to the rotary table positioning mechanism of the filling machine. There is a station for air washing at the bottle inlet. After air washing is completed, dropper bottles enter the large rotary table and are subject to nitrogen flushing before filling. When the dropper bottles are detected by the bottle-feeding photocell, the filling and lifting mechanism is pushed downward, the filling nozzles are then inserted into the dropper bottles. And the whole pump body liquid feeding and filling head liquid discharging process is completed by the metering pump. After the filling is completed, the dropper bottles are subject to nitrogen flushing. The lifting mechanism is raised, and the rotary table moves the dropper bottles to the dropper tip placing station. The dropper tips are sucked up by the suction nozzles and driven by the cam to the top of the bottle mouth through circumferential movement (the bottle clamping station clamps the bottle mouth). The dropper tip is pressed downward into the bottle’s mouth. Then rotary table takes the bottle with the tip to the capping station, and the cap suction nozzle takes the cap to the top of the bottle mouth carrying out the pre-pressing. The rotary table takes the capped bottles to the cap screwing station, and the cap is tightened by the cap screwing head. The rotary table takes the bottles after caps are screwed out of the rotary table mechanism and sends them to the conveying mechanism, which sends the bottles to the next procedure.
